Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program

Are you Eligible?
You must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements in order to apply for this program for the 2013-2014 cycle (now open):

• Be an English Teacher
• Be between 21-29 years old
• Earn a Bachelor’s degree by June 2012
• Have excellent English communication skills
• Speak fluent Kiswahili
• Have excellent academic track record
• Be able to discuss and showcase Tanzanian culture
• Be willing to travel without your family for one academic year
• Be willing to teach Kiswahili at U.S. institutions
• Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
